To upload your files:
Once you have connected, you should be in a window that looks like the one
below. On the left side is a list of the local files on your computer, the
right side should show 2 folders on the ftp server, one is the cgi-bin, the
other the www folder. Double click on the www folder on the right side. This
is the folder for all of your website files. The field under remote site,
should show www.
1-Locate the files on your local drive that you want to upload in the left
portion of the screen. Click on the black arrow to get to the root folder
for your website on your local drive.
2-The root folder that holds your entire website should be shown as the path
in the text box directly under the words local system, & all your website
files should be listed in the left screen.
3-Highlight the local files on the left side of the screen you want to upload.
To highlight, hold ctrl(win) down & click on all of the files you wish
to upload.
4-Click on the right arrow in the middle of the screen. This tells the ftp
program you want to copy files from the local site onto the remote site
5-If you have a connection, uploading should begin immediately
6-Be sure to watch the area at the bottom left as you upload. This is where
any error messages would show.
7-The bottom left should show the following once you are finished "226
Transfer Complete".
8-Click the close button on the bottom left to close the connection.
9-To reconnect, click the connect button on the bottom left.
10-Click the exit button on the bottom right to exit WS_FTP.

1-Open the WS_FTP LE program
2- Click on File->new site to get the window on the left.
3-The profile name is only for your reference. This can be whatever you want.
3-Enter your web address under host name: yourname.netfirms.com
4-Enter the yourname portion from your URL only for user ID.
5-Enter the password you received in the email confirmation from netfirms.
6-Click the save button to save these settings
7-Click the connect button to connect to the server.
8-If you do not connect, check your name & password & try again.
